• Senior Medical Assistant - Cancer Center: This team member provides care to patients visiting the clinic under the direct supervision of a physician or nurse/clinic manager. S/he interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients` charts.
• Senior Medical Assistant - Primary Care Medical Center: This team member prepares patients for examination and treatment by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room. S/he develops a workflow to ensure smooth transition of care for patients.

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital opened in June 2017 as the eighth hospital in the Houston Methodist system. This 267-bed, 725,000-square-foot, full-service, acute-care hospital offers many of the same services as our flagship hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
