Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking a board certified primary care physician to serve as Medical Director of IM residency primary care clinic. Responsibilities would include overseeing daily clinic operations, working alongside residency leadership to grow ambulatory curriculum and QI initiatives, serving as resident clinic preceptor in addition to building a primary care panel in the faculty practice.
The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician educator with strong communication and leadership skills. The role offers outstanding growth opportunities in both clinical and educational realms as the institution strives to become a primary care center of excellence. We particularly welcome candidates with interest and experience in quality improvement, curriculum development, and scholarship in internal medicine.
