Houston Methodist is excited to share our latest recognition in Forbes’ 2024 list of America’s ‘Best Employers for Women.’ Houston Methodist was ranked #33 out of the top 600 companies.
Forbes partnered with Statista to survey over 150,000 women working at U.S. companies with at least 1,000 employees. Survey responses were combined into a scoring system to calculate each company’s ranking. Factors taken into consideration included:
- How likely they were to recommend their employer
- Work environment
- Salary & pay equity
- Parental leave policies
- Employer response to sexual misconduct and discriminatory incidents
- Representation of women in leadership, executive and/or board positions
49 organizations in the 'Health Care and Social Services' industry made the list, and we're proud to be the 14th system recognized in our category.
