Forbes has officially released its annual list of America’s Best Large Employers. Houston Methodist is thrilled to announce that our system sits proudly at #7 this year, out of the 600 organizations honored nationwide in varying industries.
Partnering with Statista marketing research firm, the Forbes list is a product of employee surveys at U.S. companies with over 5,000 workers. As with all Forbes lists, companies pay no fee to be considered. Respondents were asked to evaluate their employers, sharing insights based on a range of criteria including hours, salary, opportunities for growth, workload expectations, mental health benefits, and diversity within the management team.
New to the methodology this year was the inclusion of data from the past three years - with more recent data weighted more heavily - to identify companies that have been rated well consistently over time.
