Houston Methodist Health is thrilled to announce our community’s recent achievement and recognition by Forbes. Officially released on May 23, Forbes recognized Houston Methodist in its annual list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads. In the “Healthcare and Social” industry category, Houston Methodist was ranked highly among the 35 large health systems listed nationwide.
Forbes collaborated with market research firm Statista to curate 2023’s America’s Best Employers for New Grads list based on survey results from more than 28,000 young graduates and early-career professionals in the U.S. (working at organizations with at least 1,000 employees). The survey asked respondents to rate several crucial aspects of their work experience, including views on company reputation, salary, work quality, and opportunities for career growth. Additionally, participants were requested to assess other employers within their respective industries.
Forbes selected the top 300 companies based on the highest scores attained in the survey, and 35 of those organizations were health systems; Houston Methodist is proud to be ranked at #8 this year. Learn more about the study and view the ranked list of health systems here.
